From 4-8 October I attended the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester. I attended over 50 events and had discussions with senior leaders in the party, donors, business leaders, fellow councillors, journalists, activists, senior members of the National Convention, young conservatives, parliamentary candidates, new and former MPs. The message was clear. The Conservative party is the only sensible choice to govern the country. Our values of personal freedom, pro business, and keeping citizens safe, both home and abroad are values that I fully support.
